Sustainability Mission Statement

The Institute of Tourist Guiding aims to achieve world-class sustainability standards in all its own activities and in the information its Institute-accredited guides share with and use for customers. The Institute commits to providing guidance to its members on sustainability issues, enabling members to be catalysts for sustainable tourism by enriching visitor experiences, championing the protection of local natural and cultural heritage, and informing visitors on practices that benefit host communities and the environment.
