Office closure during the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak

COVID-19 and the Institute office: 19/03/20

A message from the Institute President, reflecting adherence to government advice during the COVID-19 outbreak.

In the difficult and unprecedented situation in which we find ourselves, we are all following the guidelines of the Government and medical experts to limit unnecessary journeys and keep contact with others to a minimum.

The health and safety of everyone is our prime objective.

The Institute office is now being operated remotely – the telephones have been diverted and emails are being monitored so it should be as close to business as usual as we can make it.  Should you have any queries or concerns, please email or telephone the office and we shall do our best to help you.

The examinations for current training courses have been postponed and details can be found here.

We are all in this together and can support each other by keeping in remote, if not personal, contact.

Keep well,

Marilyn Collis, President, Institute of Tourist Guiding
