Participants on Institute of Tourist Guiding accredited programmes must pass all elements of the Institute examinations at the relevant level before they receive their certificates (at Level 2) and their badges and certificates (at Level 3-Green Badge and Level 4- Blue Badge)
Candidates at Level 4 are entitled to 3 consecutive attempts (1st and 2 re-sits) at their examinations to be completed within 30 months from the end of their training programme.
Candidates at Level 3 are entitled to 2 consecutive attempts (1st and 1 re-sit) at their examinations to be completed within 24 months from the end of their training programme.
