The Institute Accredits Training Programmes for Tourist Guiding

When applying to have a Training Centre or Guide Training Programme accredited by the Institute please submit your application to the Accreditation Committee for consideration and recommendation to the Qualifications Board. See how to apply.

The following categories are accredited by the Institute.

• Training Centres/Providers

• Training and Assessment/Examination programmes for Tourist Guiding qualifications at Blue Badge Level (Educational Level 4)

• Training and Assessment/Examination programmes for Commentaries and Heritage Interpretation qualifications at Educational Levels 3 and 2

• Training and Assessment/Examination Programmes for short Endorsement qualifications for qualified Blue Badge Tourist Guides
