	Course Content: There has been a training course for people wishing to become professional tourist guides in London for over 50 years. There has recently been a change in Training Provider for the London course (see details below), and the new course will begin in September 2011. The course prepares student guides for the Institute of Tourist Guiding examinations. On passing these written and practical examinations, the guide is awarded a Blue Badge, which is the industry recognised symbol of professionalism in tourist guiding.
