If you are thinking of entering the tourism industry to take up paid or voluntary employment guiding visitors round an attraction such as a stately home, cathedral, museum or theme park, or perhaps a business or industrial site, then this qualification is for you.

Q: What sort of work can I expect to do at Level 2?

You will have a qualification enabling you to
  • offer fixed route tours on foot in a specified site, or exceptionally on a moving vehicle like a boat or open-top bus
  • have an in-depth knowledge of your site
  • have a range of communication skills essential for the delivery of an effective commentary and presentation.
