Cancellation and refund policy

Cancellation

If you would like to cancel your membership, please contact the Membership Officer

Refund

If you have paid your membership subscription to the Institute, but decide that you wish to cancel your membership a full refund will be payable if you cancel within 14 days.
Confirmation that you require to cancel your membership subscription must be received by the ITG, in writing and within 14 days of your payment. No refunds will be given after this 14-day period.

Refund method

Refunds will only be made to the bank account or credit card of the originating payer and within 30 days of notification of your cancellation. The Institute reserves the right to charge 10% administration charge for all refunds.

Refund conditions

No refund will be given if the Institute has reason to believe that an individual has benefited from being an Institute member by having access to member information, registration for courses and programmes or receiving emails or publications.

A refund may be declined or withheld until such time that an Institute property issued as part of the membership subscription e.g. membership ID photo cards is returned.

Cancellation

If you would like to cancel your attendance at an Institute event, please contact the

Refund

A cancellation, made in writing up to 14 days before an event will be refunded in full. No
refund will be made within 14 days of the event.

If the Institute needs to cancel or postpone the event due to circumstances beyond its control a full refund will be made.

ACCREDIATATION COUSRE FEES

Cancellation and refund

Should a course accreditation application be withdrawn by the applicant, in writing, within 3 weeks before it is considered by the Accreditation Committee, a full refund, less £50.00, will be made. Please contact the Operations Manager officer@itg.org.uk or 020 7680 7167.
Level 2, 3, and 4 – accreditation fees are non-refundable.
Level 2, 3 and 4 – course re-accreditation fees are non-refundable.

EXAMINATION FEES

All examination fees are non-refundable.

EXAMINATION APPEALS FEES

Cancellation and refund.

Should you wish to cancel an examination appeal please contact the Operations Manager officer@itg.org.uk or 020 7680 7146. You will receive a full refund if notification is received in writing and is received within 7 working days the appeal was made. The Institute reserves the right to charge 10% administration charge for this refund.

Where the appeal is upheld, the fee will be fully refunded.
